Go! Go is a strategic board game for two players. It is known as Weiqi in Chinese, Igo or Go in Japanese, and Baduk or sometimes Gi in Korean. It is played by two players placing black and white stones on the vacant intersections of a line grid. The standard size of this grid is 19 × 19, although the rules of Go can be freely applied to any size. The objective of this hot game is to control a larger part of a board than the opponent as a result of having placed one's stones such that they form territories that cannot be captured by the opponent. A stone or a group of stones is captured and removed if it has no empty adjacent intersections, which is achieved when one is completely surrounded by stones of the opposing color. This hot game ends and the score is counted when both players consecutively pass on a turn, indicating that neither side can increase its territory or reduce its opponent's. Like Chess, playing this hot game requires logical thinking and will therefore increase your cranial ability!

Sudoku This puzzle is played on a nine by nine grid that has some squares that contain numbers known as the givens. The objective of this hot game is it to complete the grid using the digits one through nine only once in each row, column, and block. Made popular at the turn of this century by New Zealander Wayne Gould, who convinced the editors of the New York Times to start publishing the puzzles in the Sunday paper. This hot game has wide appeal since although it is mentally challenging, the rules are simple which make the game easy to play. So, although the puzzle involves numbers, this hot game is not mathematical, merely logical.
Chess This is the classic hot game of strategy. Played on a square chequered chessboard with 64 squares, the object is to checkmate your opponent's king, whereby the king is under immediate attack (in "check") and has no way to remove it from attack on the next move. At the start, each player ("white" and "black") controls sixteen pieces: one king, one queen, two rooks, two knights, two bishops, and eight pawns. Theoreticians have developed extensive chess strategies and tactics since the hot game's inception, and is widely advocated as a way of enhancing mental prowess.
Nintendo Brain Age This puzzle video game is also known as Dr. Kawashima's Brain Training: How Old Is Your Brain? It is published and developed by Nintendo for the Nintendo DS handheld video game console. It was first released in Japan, and was later released in North America, Europe, Australia, and South Korea. Brain Age features a variety of puzzles, including stroop tests, mathematical questions, and Sudoku puzzles, all designed to help keep certain parts of the brain active. It was included in the Touch! Generations series of hot video games, a series created for the casual hot gamer, and uses the touch screen and microphone for most puzzles. The basic idea is to create hot games that improve mental and logical abilities since your brain, like all muscles, deteriorates if it is not used frequently while being challenged.
Logic Games These hot games are well-known to any student that has studied for the LSAT. These are puzzles of skill that require no luck. They are common to IQ tests, and can generally be solved with a little time and effort. Classic hot logic games include the Rubik's Cube and Gordian Knot.
